Worship and Music
Worship finds the faithful celebrating God’s presence in this world but not of this world. In this way, we prepare our hearts, minds and souls for the outpouring of our love and praise to God. Our hope and expectation of our worship experience together affirms a prophetic and challenging response to a culture that remains apart from the gospel of Christ.
Sacrament of Communion
The gospel of Christ brings us to deepen our unity, holiness and witness as disciples to the table of remembrance. Christ’s ongoing spiritual nourishment and presence is offered the first Sunday of each month at 10:00 a.m. in our historic sanctuary. All are welcome.
Sacrament of Baptism
Arrangements for the sacrament of baptism are made through the church office. If the baptism is for an infant or child, at least one of the parents must be a member of The Reformed Church. Throughout the year certain days are designated as Baptism Sundays.
Weddings
Weddings are performed for church members and non-members in consultation with the Pastor. Contact the church office 845.359.1694.
Memorial Services
Memorial and Funeral Services may also be arranged through the church office.
Music
In our Sanctuary
Our Church Choir rehearses weekly on Sunday mornings from 9:15 – 9:45 in the church sanctuary, prior to the 10:00 worship service. Open to ages teen through senior, previous choral experience is not required, but is very helpful. The choir leads the hymns during the 10:00 worship service and performs anthems in varying styles, from gospel to traditional. We are always happy to welcome new members! If you would like information about joining our energy-filled, praise-loving group, please contact us.
